Forage Byron Bay is a gorgeous business that celebrates the importance of collecting and ethically harvesting edible fruits and plants, particularly of the native variety. The founder, Tessa Cookson, has a food-grade commercial kitchen set up within her house via a steel dividing wall (with glass) we created.
We chose to go with this beautiful steel dividing wall design solution as a way to create a domestic and commercial kitchen in one room to meet food-hygiene compliance standards. Not only does this aesthetic seamlessly complement the rest of the room. The inclusion of glass panes allows for viewing from the outside without having to enter the commercial kitchen, an important criterion as Tessa holds food workshops.
Built onsite at Legacy of the Antipodes and brought to Tessa’s property for installation, this project is another striking example of a signature design that’s functional and distinctive.
