Flood Update – 3 May
“Merci à toi”
Thank you to all the legends that have given their time and energy to help us get back on our feet and move forward.
Innovation
Following flooding throughout the community, our No.1 enquiry is for innovative, flood-resistant cabinetry. In line with this, we have been consulting with community stakeholders, Mullum Cares, to develop resilient, high-quality products for your future.
Adapting to Change
Instead of a “business as usual” approach following the floods, we have been able to pivot toward a more agile business model where we can better meet our clients’ growing and complex needs.
This will allow us to work further afield including along the east coast and throughout capital cities.
Avoiding the Ordinary
Have you experienced diluted results with bespoke projects simply because your design was outside your supplier’s comfort zone?
Our internationally trained team have an exceptional reputation for partnering with Australia-wide clients who set audacious goals and require precision-based execution in wood and metal projects.
Our Consulting and Design services are a bespoke and complete experience: research, development, collaboration, pricing, prototyping, manufacturing and installation.
If you would like to know more about any of these services, please get in touch with Lisa, Director of Business Development, with your ideas.
Flood Update – 7 March
Please be advised that our workshop and office is currently closed due to extensive mud and water damage.
All staff and our dog are safe. It will take us several weeks and potentially months to wash away the mud, repair/replace water-logged machinery, office, and workshop equipment.
We have been experiencing ongoing internet and phone issues for the past week and have been attempting to contact clients with project updates amongst ongoing clean-up efforts.
Please bear with us during this time. We are already physically and emotionally exhausted and assuming this marathon will continue.
USEFUL FLOOD ADVICE
URGENT ASSISTANCE
If you require urgent help (e.g health or safety risk) from us, please email us with “URGENT” in the subject line along with the topic, and we will respond as soon as we can.
Phones are not being answered at this stage. Send urgent email
FLOODED CABINETRY AND FURNITURE
Insurers often appoint their own repair tradespeople (which may not necessarily involve us) to repair all aspects of damaged property. In the first instance, attempt to contact your insurer. Even if you don’t have flood coverage, they may have further useful advice or financial grants for policyholders.
TIP…
Before removing low-to-moderately damaged cabinetry and benchtops, consider if it is still safe and functional to use in the coming weeks. Due to the vast number of impacted houses and COVID-related supply chain issues, you may, unfortunately, experience a longer than anticipated wait time.
VOLUNTEERS
Clean-up volunteers are still welcome in Mullumbimby! Please report to the Mullumbimby Civic Hall for a variety of assignments. We may cross paths as we continue our clean-up throughout the week.

♥ THINKING OF YOU ♥
While our thoughts are with our wider community who are far worse off, we would still like to share our gratitude to those who have sent messages of support from near and far… and to the absolute legends who have helped us in the past week with the clean up in our business and the neighbourhood.
We love you, Northern Rivers!
