Legacy of the Antipodes is a leading home quality improvement mixed trades business in the beautiful Byron Bay area. Two company directors are French master craftsmen who specialise in finding solutions to complex designs.
Our cabinetry team focuses on domestic cabinetry for architecturally designed homes; and bespoke shopfitting for retail and hospitality sectors and offices. We only accept a small amount of timber joinery projects to work on, as we choose to focus on furniture and cabinetry.
This role has an immediate start and will focus on both manufacturing in our workshop; and onsite installations, primarily but not limited to the Byron Shire.
The successful applicant must immediately hit the ground running by demonstrating fast, safe, accurate and neat work, along with being reliable, enthusiastic, autonomous, and organised. There are future opportunities to be mentored to further skills. BYO work pants, safety boots and hand tools. Uniform shirts and jackets will be provided.
The remuneration package is dependent on the successful applicant’s skill level and commitment.
Temporary full-time to move to permanent full-time following successful completion of the required six month probation period.
During busy periods and with prior notice, there is scope to work paid overtime during evenings or Saturdays.

This new and evolving role has become available as we are the supplier of steel door joinery to the areas of Northern NSW and all of Queensland.
This role will primarily be reading from plans and manufacturing all aspects of steel framed doors and windows in our Mullumbimby workshop with occasionally manufacturing of other non-structural high-end quality metal products and installation work.
There are also opportunities to be mentored to further your skills in the future.
The successful applicant must immediately demonstrate accurate and neat work, along with being reliable, enthusiastic, autonomous, and organised. You will have to provide your own work clothing and safety boots (essential) and hand tools (preferred). Uniform shirts will be provided.
Remuneration package is dependent on the successful applicant’s skill level and commitment.
Casual evolving to permanent full-time.
